These terms apply to website projects and care plans from Bog House Media. Your written quote sets out the details of your project.
1. What is included
Each website project includes the work set out in your written quote: the number of pages, the features (for example a contact form, booking or a shop), basic search engine set-up and a mobile-friendly design. Anything not listed in the quote is extra and will be agreed with you first.
2. Rounds of changes
The price includes 2 rounds of changes to the design and content. Please send each round as one list. Further changes are charged at our hourly rate of €85 + VAT.
3. Deposit and balance
A deposit of 50% is due before work begins. The deposit is non-refundable once work begins. The balance of 50% is due before the website goes live. Invoices are due within 14 days. You can pay by bank transfer or by card; our bank details are on each invoice.
4. Your content
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all text, logos and images you supply, and you are responsible for them. You remain the owner of your content. Once the balance is paid, you own your website. Paid plugins and themes stay under their makers’ licences.
5. Domain, email and hosting
Your domain name and business email are registered in your own name and account. While you are on a care plan or hosting plan, your website is hosted by us. You can move it elsewhere at any time with 30 days’ notice, and we will help you do so.
6. Care plans
Care plans are optional. Essential Care is €45 a month, Business Care €95 a month, and Shop & Booking Care €165 a month; or pay yearly at 10 times the monthly price. Hosting only is €20 a month or €200 a year. All prices are + VAT. Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Included hours do not roll over.
7. Your data
Where we host your website, we process form submissions and other personal data on your behalf, only to provide our services, and in line with data protection law.
8. Credit
We add a small “Website by Bog House Media” link in the footer, and we may show your website in our portfolio. Just tell us if you would rather we did not.
